We hand-pick, interview, and technically test each and every Artisan that joins our team. We also conduct full background checks to ensure the safety of our clients while our team enters their homes, offices and events.

Hello beautiful! We are so glad you’re here! We are the faces behind this amazing company which we feel is important to note, because while WarPaint International might sound like a big box company, we are still a small family owend business. At WarPaint International our number one priority is our clients. Our goal is to not only make you look amazing, but to feel amazing too. And, of course, have fun along the way! Being that Jessica Mae is a professional makeup artist herself, we understand that you entrust us with some of your life’s most memorable and special occasions. It’s an honor to be a part of them!
We founded WPI together in 2010 with the vision of touching as many lives as possible. We have contracted some of the best talent in the industry and created a culture of greatness with them. We are one big WPI family! When asked what sets us apart from other companies the answer is simple… “The talent of our people, our processses and our integrity.” We have serviced thousands of clients over the years and have worked hard to create an exceptional beauty expereince. What is a Beauty Agency?
Discard what you know about booking agents. At WarPaint International we embody the meaning of an agency. We contract some of the best makeup and hair artisans in the industry. Here, we are a team of talent that works together to provide the best service possible to our clients. Our artisans are freelancers that come from varying backgrounds of experience and expertise. We pride ourselves on being able to cater to any client regardless of skin tone, hair texture, race, religion, sex, etc.

The WPI Difference
Artisan Hiring
Our team of talent goes through an extensive hiring process before we contract them. Our interview process starts with a thorough review of each applicant's portfolio, resume, and of course a social media check. From there we conduct a ‘get to know you’ interview where we have the opportunity to ask those all-telling questions about the type of person they are and their experience as a professional.
The next step is a technical interview where the applicant brings in a model and we get to see their skills in action. This process allows us to see the types of products they use, their sanitation practices as well as their skill-set and customer service.
Finally. The final stage is to run a national criminal background check, which includes every category. We partner with Trusted Employees for this service. This final step is of the utmost importance to us so we can ensure the safety of our clients. Once all of those things pass with a green light we contract them and take them through an on-boarding and orientation process to familiarize them with our company policies and procedures. Many beauty agencies over-look this crucial step and independent freelancers can't offer this safety piece for themselves. You should never have to worry about the credibility of the Artisans you are contracting to bring into your home, hotel room, event space, corporate offices, etc.
Processes
Our Founder, Jessica Mae, believes if there isn’t a process there is a problem and is a total nerd when it comes to creating processes and solutions. It’s a passion she didn’t know she had until starting WPI! We are beyond proud of our processes and policies that enable us to maintain clear expectations, deliver exceptional client experiences as well as a kick butt team culture. We are committed to always evolving and changing to continue to elevate what we offer.
Humility
We recognize that we are human and mistakes are bound to happen. We will be the first to admit when we don’t get it right and make every effort (within reason) to correct our errors. Our goal is to leave our clients glowing, confident and happy as much as we can possibly control.

We truly believe that if you’re not having fun you’re doing life wrong. After all this is a beauty party; right? Let’s kick up our heels, pop some bubbly, turn on your favorite tunes and get your special events and life occasions off to the right start!
Insurance
We require all of our artisans to carry a liability insurance policy. This means that in the unlikely event bodily injury or damage to property are caused by a WPI artisan, there is an insurance policy in place to take care of such an instance. We partner with BodyWork Insurance. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.
